Newsletter Deadline
Please submit your print ready submissions for the May Newsletter by Friday, April 18. E-mail a copy to our church office. Print Ready: written in a format where the office can cut and paste your submission into the newsletter as it is: not just facts and dates, but with a little something that explains what your group is; how and why you meet as well as who is invited (may be edited for space.) Thanks for your time and service.
Special Congregational Meeting
The Session has called for a Special Congregational Meeting immediately after our worship service on Sunday May 4 to receive a report from the Nominating Committee and then to elect one new Elder to fill unexpired term for the class of 2009. All active members are encouraged to attend. Please contact any of the Elders if you have any questions about this special meeting.

Prayer Team
The Sanctuary will be available 8:30 am Sunday mornings for you to pray for our church. Please join us before Growth Hour for this important time.
Sunday Offering Counters Needed
There are several vacancies on our offering counting schedule that need to be filled. The offering is counted by teams of two and you commit to only one Sunday a month. It takes approximately 40 minutes after church and we are providing training in September! Please contact the Office Manager or Deacon Phyllis M. if you are interested; we need subs too! We’re counting on you!
Communion Bread
If you have a gift for baking and would be interested in volunteering to make the bread for Communion, please see one of the Deacons.

- Greeters Enjoy the opportunity to welcome new friends and old friends on Sunday morning - no experience necessary.
- Flowers Honor the memory of a loved one, celebrate a special occasion, rejoice in what the Lord has done -- bring flowers for Sunday morning. We can arrange them in a vase or purchase them for you. After Worship they will go home with you or to someone who needs cheering.
- Worship Assistant Assist Pastor Brian with the Prayer of Confession and Scripture readings - experience the joy of reading God’s word aloud. (contact: Pastor Vigen G.)
- Give the Children’s Message.
- Hospitality Share your favorite treat with us during our time of Fellowship after Worship - we will be happy to set it out for you.
- Joy Singers
Thursdays, 7:15pm, rehearsal for worship team. Singers wanted, ability to read music not required. Jazz musicians wanted for small, informal jazz ensemble. (contact: Diane B.)
- Ushers Gather offering during Worship or count offering after Worship as a member of the Counting Team - training will be provided.
- Drama ministry - sermon/Scripture illustration + outreach, experience not required, desire to minister is required. (contact: Sherry K.)
- Office helpers print/fold the Sunday bulletin/newsletter.
- Assist Children’s Church with singing, storytime, or prayer.
- Teach Sunday School during Our Education Hour for Adults, Youth, or children.

Even if you send and receive messages regularly with us send your current e-mail addresses, titled, Current e-mail info. to the church office.
