2. Community Bible Study
(Wednesday group) Wednesdays, 9 am-11 am @ 3133 Dwight Rd. in Elk Grove: September 16 2009 - May 19th 2010 (May 8th off) a non-denominational group; free babysitting provided with a full children’s program: Flyer. STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY
We encourage each family to pray about ways to be involved in the life of the church. Session feels that God is calling us to be a church family where each person contributes and is involved in the shared life and ministry of the church. For 2010, we will be practicing a true faith budget. As a result, we will not be asking for pledges. We believe that as we prayerfully trust God to meet the needs of the church, that He will use each of us to meet those needs. If you, however, would still like to submit one in order to help you in keeping track of your giving, you may do so. We affirm the joy of giving to God's work in our midst as we trust in His faithful provision to us. As Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:7-8, “Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.” 2010 Stewardship Letter & 2010 Committment Form.

Worship Night.
Another opportunity to serve with other women and men within the church every week. We have a dinner the first Tuesday each month, and we would love volunteers for worship leading (musicians especially), teachers for different ages, someone to lead a game of tag, and someone to bring a snack. Prayer Team.
Do you desire to learn how to pray for others? If so, please talk to Pastor Brian about being a part of a new prayer team that will be available to pray for others after our Sunday services.

Saturday, Septebmer 18. Cost $25/person. Free continental breakfast and lunch. More importantly, a great time of Bible study, fellowship and worship with christian women from all over the world at Fremont Presbyterian in Sacramento!

CRAFT NIGHT
A Saturday anytime after 5 pm at Peace Church. See the Upcoming Special Events page for the next meeting. Bring your own project or help with the quilts for our graduating seniors.-- no sewing required. Cutters and ironers are welcome! Or just come for the fellowship! Bring a potluck dish to share.
