• WEEKDAY STUDIES:
  1. (Friday group) Fridays, 9:30-11 am @ the church.
  An informal and powerful discussion. ALL women are invited. No Bible knowledge necessary and childcare and coffee/tea are provided. “Share Jesus Without Fear“ A discussion/video format by LifeWay.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY We encourage each family to pray about ways to be involved in the life of the church. Session feels that God is calling us to be a church family where each person contributes and is involved in the shared life and ministry of the church. We affirm the joy of giving to God’s work in our midst as we trust in His faithful provision to us. As Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:7-8, “Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.” 2011 Stewardship Info. & 2011 Committment Form.

FRIDAY FUN NIGHT Another opportunity to serve with other women and men within the church every week. We have a dinner the first Friday each month, and we would love volunteers for worship leading (musicians especially), teachers for different ages, and someone to bring a snack. PRAYER TEAM Do you desire to learn how to pray for others? If so, please talk to Pastor Brian about being a part of a new prayer team that will be available to pray for others after our Sunday services.

CRAFT NIGHT A Saturday anytime after 5 pm at Peace Church. See the Upcoming Special Events page for the next meeting. Bring your own project or help with the quilts for our graduating seniors.-- no sewing required. Cutters and ironers are welcome! Or just come for the fellowship! Bring a potluck dish to share. PEACE WOMEN’S RETREAT 2011 @ Pismo Beach, CA: 14-16 October 2011. Cost: $0 (except for gas & food) for first 9 women to signup. The rest need to share hotel expenses. A planning committee meets Friday September 30 at home of Rachel S. at 12:30 pm. Contact Rachel S. by email if you’re interested in helping.
