Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7pm, sanctuary. (new singers are always welcome!) For more information on assisting with worship contact Pianist, Esther B.
This team leads the worship at Peace Presbyterian for all services. If you love to sing, or play an instrument, we would love to have you join us. We are using traditional hymns, and contemporary choruses.
SINGERS WANTED!
The Joy Singers are always looking for more voices, so if you would like to be a part of this important ministry, please join us. Ability to read music is NOT required, and there are no auditions.
JAZZ-LOVING MUSICIANS:
If you love to play jazz and would like to be a part of a small, informal jazz ensemble, we need you!

RECYCLE FOR JOY
The Joy Singers collect beverage recycling to help offset cost of piano tuning and annual fees for the music license for the use of songs that we sing and play at worship.
Beverage containers only, the container must have CA redemption symbol on it to be eligible for us to get money for it which is generally found on the side of the container: CA CRV is what to look for.
Please remove the caps from all bottles; caps break the machine.
Eligible examples:
- Aluminum soda cans and Beer cans
- Plastic water bottles
glass bottles; some hard liquor bottles
- bottles that are not 100% juice or milk; like ice tea, Snapple.
Not eligible for money:
- Milk cartons
- many 100% juice that do not have CA symbol on them
- Wine bottles.
You can either bring your bottles and cans to church, or to the recycling center yourself and turn in the money to the church marked music recycling. The closest center to the church is behind Bel-Air; center is closed Sun and Mon. After you turn in your items, the attendant gives you a slip and then you proceed to a Bel-Air cashier where they will give you cash.
If you prefer us to pick up your items, please contact Elder Liz I. at home.
Joy singers thank you.
