to all those who were involved in the firework sales. Many of you braved the heat to set up, sell, clean up, take inventory and count receipts. It was another great success that would not have happened without you. Extra thanks to Elder Mark A. for spearheading the whole project. You are all appreciated!
Peaces Annual Firework Fundraiser begins Thursday June 28 through July 4. The stand last year was a huge success and helped pay for our new sprinkler system! This year it will help offset the cost of building and property repairs and possibly to purchase a needed lawn tractor. To make it a great success, we need volunteers to work the booth. The sign-up sheet with the dates and shift times is in the Social Hall, and you can e-mail the church office stating when you can work.
We need three (3) volunteers to work each 3-hour shift (9 am-12 pm; 12 pm-3 pm; 3 pm-6 pm and 6 pm-9 pm); and 4 volunteers per shift on July 3 and 4. All shifts are still available, so get the one that works best for your schedule: minimum 18 years of age. Tell your friends and neighbors to support our booth!
