SUNDAY MORNING ADULT STUDIES
in the Sanctuary: please bring your Bible for the study In His Footsteps, Rediscovering Kingdom Healing, with Pastor Brian and lay-youth minister, Sherry K. This class shows how the original church bore witness to the message of Jesus and how God validated it with signs and wonders. The class will show the connection between proclaiming and experiencing the Good News, through the healing power and person of God. We will seek to grow in our expectancy of God’s healing power today, in understanding the dynamics of seeking and receiving healing from Him, exploring our calling to be a part of Jesus’s healing ministry today, be better equipped to work with Jesus in His healing ministry, learn the dynamics of God’s kingdom healing today, learn how to proclaim His kingdom and expect to see His powerful healing work in our lives each day. There will be opportunities for hands on prayer and we expect to see God at work, healing and doing miracles.

Upcoming Studies:
The songs of Mary, Zechariah and Simeon from Luke 1-2. As we follow up from our Healing Prayer study, we begin a new Advent Bible Study. As we study these songs, we will give thanks for how God does answer prayers and for how Jesus is the deepest answer to our prayers and longings. This study builds on and complements our sermon series, so you are encouraged to attend Bible Study in addition to worship.

Strobel examines Luke 2:1-18 and discusses whether it was all a hoax-or truly the pivotal event of human history. Come and be a part of our study as we prepare for our Advent season together. God acts on our behalf, independent of our own effort, to redeem us from sin through the work of Jesus Christ, His Son, and gives us new life through the free gift of faith.
Elk Grove is continually becoming a place of great diversity ethnically, economically and religiously. This study is intended to teach us more about our faith as Christians, more about the faiths of those around us, and how we can share our faith with each person who is around us, including those of different faiths.
