SUNDAY SCHOOL NEEDS YOU!
Come one, come all, summer is almost over! It is time to sign-up to be a Sunday School teacher. Even if you have never taught Sunday School, now is the time to try it. It is a great way to get to know the children of our church and share your love of Christ with them. We have easy to follow curriculum and I [Tracy F.] am always available to help and answer questions. So, if you are interested in spending some time with the children of our church, please give me a call or see me after church. Thank you! --Tracy F.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH
Children are invited to attend Children’s Church after the Children’s Message during the worship service
All ages meet in Preschool Rooms A&B.
Pre-school (3-5 years) - 6th grades. Start in Congregational Corporate Worship then, after the Children’s Message the Children are escorted to Children’s Church in Preschool Rooms A & B.
Worship Leader(s) help the children to express the elements of worship at their own age-appropriate level.
If you would like to be a Worship Leader for any particular element (Bible Story, Music, Prayer) please contact the Worship Directors for Children’s Church by phone, email or in person: Elder, Keith F. and Deacon, Liz F.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - GROWTH HOUR FOR CHILDREN
Classes offered for Pre-school (3-5 years) - 6th grades during the Education Hour @9am with Nursery care provided. A healthy snack is offered immediately afterward in preparation for Corporate Worship which will begin at 10:15am.
Teachers help the children to learn about the Love of God and the Bible He gave us at their own age-appropriate level using curriculum and support from the Christian Education Committee.
If you would like to teach Sunday School for any class please contact Tracy F. by phone, email or in person. A short instructional meeting was held last November 5th after church, and the information packet is available by request.

SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER TRAINING
After church on Sunday November 5th there was a brief teacher training at 11 am in the modulars to review upcoming changes in the new year, share some teaching tips and discuss curriculum. If you are currently a teacher or interested in teaching in the future and missed the meeting, please contact Tracy F. for a packet of information and with any questions.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Each person or team commits to a one month a quarter schedule. There are three classes (Preschool-K, 1st-3rd, and 4th-6th) with easy curriculum and support provided. All members and friends are invited to participate: great for High School and College students. If you are interested in becoming involved in our Christian Education program please sign-up in the Social Hall, or talk with Tracy F.
CHRISTMAS BELLS ARE RINGING
Kids and adults are needed in the upcoming Christmas musical “A Mouse Christmas” the story of Papa Mouse whose great grandfather made the trip to Bethelehem with Joseph and Mary. If you would like to be a part in the telling of this new, yet age-old story, of our LORD, let Pastor Brian know.
Sunday School Registration:
Please fill-out a registration form for each of your Sunday School Aged children (Preschool through 6th grade as of 2006). Return forms to the welcome table in the Social Hall or the church office. Contact Tracy F. with any questions.
CHILDREN’S MESSAGE
Pastor Brian leads a new message each week for our Young Disciples who are invited to come to the front of the Sanctuary and sit at the base of the platform together with him during Sunday Worship. The object lesson is short, but fun for all. If you would like to help lead a message, please contact Pastor Brian or the Office Manager. After the message the children are led to Children’s Church for an age-appropriate worship time.
CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PAGEANT
all children preschool to 6th grade. This year we will present, Listen to Christmas, during our Sunday morning service on Christmas Eve, December 24. A final practice Saturday December 23 @ 3pm. We will need at least two adult helpers to coordinate the children entering the church and organizing and passing out costumes, so please contact Tracy F. if you can help or if you have any questions.

We thanked all our Sunday School teachers on November 5 with Teacher Appreciation Sunday with a framed piece of art handed out by all of the children of Peace Presbyterian. If you were unavailable that Sunday, please let Pastor Brian know.
We also have a fun program for children ages 3 and up. “Logos” incorporates Bible Study, Worship skills, Activities and Dinner. Please use the Programs link or the Logos page for more information and to sign-up.
