Accomplished in 2009

This page was designed to remind our members what we as a small church have accomplished in this year. Often we rejoice as the event occured, but quickly we forget the work done through the Grace of God. This page should help us to celebrate the year’s events and cause us to refelct on the Love of God in our lives, especially as we head toward Stewardship Sunday.
Send in your notice for the 2009 list.

ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING
Our Annual meeting was Sunday, January 25th beginning with a potluck dinner at 5pm and the business from 6-8pm. Some of the items included a financial review of 2008, a review of our church budget for 2009, a review of our church life in 2008 and goals for our church life in 2009. Each and every active member of the church is encouraged to attend this special meeting, as we give thanks for all God did in our midst in 2008 and as we look forward joyfully and expectantly to what He will do in our midst in 2009. Please talk to any of the Elders if you have any questions about this upcoming meeting.

Plain, blueberry and strawberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs and beverages were served by the Decaons (and some of their spouses). Joe G. even served made-to-order omelets; how can anyone pass that up? Several gift baskets created by Elder Cindy M. were given away.
Deacon’s Breakfast: Free, Saturday March 14, served 8-10am. We all stayed later for fun and fellowship.

WORK DAY!
