This page was designed to remind our members what we as a small church have accomplished in this year. Often we rejoice as the event occured, but quickly we forget the work done through the Grace of God. This page should help us to celebrate the years events and cause us to refelct on the Love of God in our lives, especially as we head toward Stewardship Sunday. Send in your notice for the 2007 list.

Peace is pleased to present the film Ever Again on Sunday April 29th at 7pm in the Sanctuary.
This new feature documentary by Moriah Films, a division of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, examines the current dangerous resurgence of violent anti-Semitism throughout Europe - spurred by the exhortations of angry Muslim Imams and neo-Nazis who openly urge murder and destruction to their rapidly growing army of followers. EVER AGAIN is narrated by Kevin Costner (winner of two Academy Awards for Dances With Wolves), directed and co-written by Richard Trank (Academy Award winner for The Long Way Home) and produced and co-scripted by Simon Wiesenthal Center Founder and Dean Rabbi Marvin Hier (winner of two Academy awards for Genocide and The Long Way Home). Michelle Reardon of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Greater Sacramento Region will facilitate a discussion after the screening. Admission is free and open to the public.

Session has called for a special Congregational Meeting. YOUTH @ PEACE
We meet Tuesday evenings from 5:30 - 8pm during LOGOS, and 6:30-8:30pm off-season. We have covered several chapters of The New Christians Handbook, we have read 30 Days to Understanding the Bible, and the Screwtape Letters... Contact Sherry K., aka Bear!
In March we attended BattleCry in San Francisco braving the city and those who misunderstand what God says about sexual purity. We made committments to live like Jesus in a lost and dying culture and we have chosen to lead the way to a Godly lifestyle.
In the summer we made committments to stay pure with our whole selves and we studied with several guest speakers with Proud to Wait. Some of us graduated from the 10 week course and received certificates.
In September we served with a Youth Sunday Worship Service on September 23rd with leading the hymn and praise music, leading the corporate prayer time, reading the Scriptures aloud, collecting the offering, reading an original, evangelistic short story written by one of our own youth, and we acted in a human video to the music of Lighthouse. Then we explained what See Ya At The Pole is and how our congregation can support us in praying for our fellow students.
In November we created a new tradition with our Thanksgiving paper chain: we gave strips of colored paper to congregants asking them to write at least one thing for which they are thankful and we made paper chains that hung in our sanctuary.
In December we served by assisting the Christmas Pageant as crew and stand-ins and we served the Advent Kick-off night by leading a craft table making Adjustable beaded bookmarks.
Next, we begin our off-season fellowship: 6:30-8:30pm starting December 28th.

TOWN HALL MEETING

This meeting was recorded in case you could not attend, but will not be available online. Hope you joined us for discussion and fellowship. If you have questions, please contact Pastor Brian.
CONGREGATIONAL MEETING

SPECIAL OFFERING FOR MODULAR REPAIRS
The Session is working hard at implementing a plan to finish repairs to our modular as soon as possible. The expenses for the repairs thus far have been in addition to our normal budget and have totalled $10,000.00 so far this year. A member of our church family has volunteered to pay for the cost of new carpet. We may need to spend another $1,500.00 for further repairs. Because these rooms are used by the entire church, the Session invites each family of our church to contribute to the costs of the repairs in order to offset the expenses and rebuild our church reserves. Please pray about giving in this special way. Checks can be made to the church earmarked for modular repairs.
Send in your notice for this list.
