Anne M. arranged for the 4 F’s to have a picnic at the Cosumnes River Preserve in Galt. We met at Peace Church at 11 AM and carpooled to the Preserve. Members brought their lunch, beverage and utensils. Any questions, please call Ann M.
August 2009 we met at the Old Elk Grove Hotel/Museum in Elk Grove Park (enter the park from the East Stockton Boulevard entrance). A speaker shared with us the history of the Hotel/Museum, following which we toured the facilities. Suggested donation (for the tour & speaker) is $5.00 per person. Please RSVP with Rosemary B.
We are supporting St. John’s Shelter’s Program for Women and Children. There are many, many needs as they house as many 100 people in their facility. They have provided a WISH LIST. (Copies are available in our church.) Highlighted from this list are sippy cups, laundry detergent, batteries and heavy duty garbage bags and many kinds of personal items. Peace Church has supported St. John’s for many years. We will be accepting donations until Nov. 3rd.

Patty V., former member of Peace Pres. and our “4F Member Forever”, has graciously and generously invited the 4F’s to hold their May meeting at her new residence at Collins Lake. This outing will be on Thursday, May 10. We will meet at the church at 9:30 am and carpool to Patty’s.

We took a tour of the Sacramento Food Co-op on Tuesday, April 18th at 11:30 am. The Co-op is located in the Toys R Us Shopping Center (map) on Bond Road. All church members and friends were invited to join us to take the tour. Hope you were there!
