Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs is a new section that will be filled in as items are approved.

The “What’s the Point” page is a simple salvation message piece that doesn’t intend to explain the Trinity or other important theological beliefs to which we hold, but just offer the first step toward salvation for visitors of our church and website.

View Pastor Brian’s Personal Statement of Faith.

View the Affirmation of our Book of Order concerning the ordination of leaders within our congregation which was approved by the Elders of Peace Presbyterian Church in May 2006.

The Mission of Peace Presbyterian Church:

to reach out into our community to share the message of God’s love and grace, inviting those with whom we come into contact to join the family of God. We will build relationships, enlarging and strengthening the bonds of our Christian family through prayer and fellowship, serving the needs of our church family creatively and compassionately. We will create an environment that allows God’s children to actively encounter His presence through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We will encourage all who come through our doors to worship and learn about the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, through biblically-based study and education opportunities that teach what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ in an encouraging and challenging environment, empowering believers to go out into the world rejoicing and serving Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

The Vision of Peace Presbyterian Church:

To grow in faith and relationship with Jesus Christ and one another.

We do intend our site to have an entire section concerning “Our Beliefs”, but we are only in the process of collecting that information to be compiled into a few online documents which must be approved by the Elders before being posted online.

There are lots of things that we desire to post on our site. Here are a few of the first things:

  • Right now we are focusing on information concerning every ministry in which this church is involved.
  • Next we will work on the Session Members section (not just a page), hopefully with photos, goals for each Session Member and needs listed.
  • By then, which will be several months, we may have some Deacons for whom we desire to do the same.

If you have any church information in any form (email or on disc are the most desirable formats) concerning our beliefs please send a copy.
