HARVEST OF PEACE - Silent Auction Get your hand-crafted projects started because they will be sold at a Silent Auction October 11th to support Youth and Children’s ministries at Peace Presbyterian Church. If you make hand-crocheted or hand-knitted blankets or clothing, if you paint, make jams or jellies, if you bake, sew, whittle, design or grow things for a hobby, please consider submitting your work for auction to the Elk Grove Community. Any services you may offer may also be donated for the silent Auction. We also will set up tables for used and unused items to be sold, so if you have furniture, household goods, clothing or toys please get them ready for sale October 11th. more info. to come.

Please take a moment to help me welcome Lucine Chan. She has over 18 years of experience in the office and will be an asset to our staff.
We also would like to say goodbye to the constant presence of Joyce in our church office. We will miss seeing her face in the office, however she will remain a member of the church.

• pray: for those who have lost homes and/or businesses and family/friends; for those ministering to them to be bold in their faith sharing The One who saves and supplies all our needs.
• give: of our hearts and resources. If you feel led to give financially, please clearly mark on your check or giving, “Myanmar Relief.” All of it is forwarded to the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to directly help those whose lives have been impacted by the cyclone. The Mission of Peace Presbyterian Church:

To reach out into our community to share the message of God’s love and grace, inviting those with whom we come into contact to join the family of God. We will build relationships, enlarging and strengthening the bonds of our Christian family through prayer and fellowship, serving the needs of our church family creatively and compassionately. We will create an environment that allows God’s children to actively encounter His presence through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We will encourage all who come through our doors to worship and learn about the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, through biblically-based study and education opportunities that teach what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ in an encouraging and challenging environment, empowering believers to go out into the world rejoicing and serving Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.
